Replacing Text
Open Your Google Slides Presentation:
Go to Google Slides.
Open the presentation where you want to replace the text.
Select the Slide:
In the left panel, click on the slide thumbnail to select the slide where you want to replace text.
Edit the Text Box:
Click on the text box containing the text you want to replace.
Highlight the text you want to change.
Type the new text or paste it from your clipboard.
Replacing Images
Select the Slide:
In the left panel, click on the slide thumbnail that contains the image you want to replace.
Select the Image:
Click on the image you want to replace to select it.
Replace the Image:
Right-click on the image and select "Replace image."
Choose the source for the new image: Upload from computer, Search the web, Drive, Photos, or by URL.
Select the new image and it will replace the old one.
Adding or Replacing Videos
Select the Slide:
In the left panel, click on the slide thumbnail where you want to add or replace a video.
Insert Video:
Go to the menu and click on Insert > Video.
You have three options:
YouTube: Search for a YouTube video directly.
By URL: Paste the URL of a YouTube video.
Google Drive: Select a video stored in your Google Drive.
Select the video and click "Select" to insert it into your slide.
Replace Existing Video:
If there is already a video on the slide, click on it to select.
Delete the existing video by pressing the Delete key.
Follow the steps above to insert the new video.
Importing Google Sheets Data
Prepare Your Google Sheets Data:
Ensure your data is in a Google Sheets file.
Select the Slide:
In the left panel, click on the slide thumbnail where you want to insert the data.
Insert Google Sheets Data:
Go to the menu and click on Insert > Chart > From Sheets.
Select the Google Sheets file and then select the specific chart you want to insert.
Click "Import" to insert the chart into your slide.
If you want to link the chart to your Sheets data (so updates in Sheets reflect in Slides), make sure the "Link to spreadsheet" option is checked.
Additional Tips
Positioning and Resizing: After inserting text, images, videos, or charts, click and drag to reposition them. Use the handles on the edges to resize as needed.
Formatting Text: Use the toolbar to change the font, size, color, and other formatting options for text.
Layering Content: Right-click on an element and use the "Order" option to bring it forward or send it backward in the layering order.
